Pixelated bukkake
You know you’re married to your work when you go back into the office on a Friday night after dinner to work… on your own accord.
I think I’m teeter-tottering between that sweet spot of being perfectly in my element at work and having an unhealthy addiction to it. I can’t seem to disengage these days, and it’s actually starting to get a little weird. In the...

No such thing as business ethics
The happy theory of business ethics is this: do the right thing and you will also maximize your long-term profit.
After all, the thinking goes, doing the right thing builds your brand, burnishes your reputation, helps you attract better staff and gives back to the community, the very community that will in turn buy from you. Do all of that and of course you’ll make more money. Problem...

Adventures in lumpy spaceland
Hmm… where did I leave off… Christmas?
So, the days post-Christmas were mostly spent car shopping for me. I graciously had the help of Coolin and jlee to help me select and negotiate on a car, and I was able to seal the day by my 3rd day of car shopping! w00t! I ended up getting a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. Thanks to Coolin & jlee for all their help! :D
Other than that, work...

Upcoming trips for 2012
Wow, I just realized that my prospective trips for 2012 are already piling up:
San Diego - 2 days - work trip
Chicago - February - 4 days - either solo trip or with Jon
San Francisco - March - 2 weeks - work trip
Vegas - April - 5 days - work trip
China - July - 2 weeks - family vacay
Japan - August - 1 week - visit Yunjie!
I guess my 2012 travels just kind of planned themselves for...
Great snakes! It's Christmas!
I finally got my girl bonding in this past weekend, with my girls at Linda’s place.
We started the night with a bit of Bang, and soon moved onto Dixit. Hilarity ensued.
Special guest, Peter, made Dixit extra fun this time around. :)
In between Dixit, we Skyped with Yunjie. Despite connection issues, it was comforting to connect with Yunjie and see how she had been doing in Japan....

A near-incoherent update of my December...
I’ve been way too busy to write anything substantial in terms of public blog posts. Since I came back from Florida late November, work-related things have taken over my life. I’ve never been so grateful that I love my work, otherwise these hours and conditions would break me.
I’ve found pockets of time in between to see friends, and that’s what’s kept me sane.
