I finally got my girl bonding in this past weekend, with my girls at Linda’s place.

We started the night with a bit of Bang, and soon moved onto Dixit. Hilarity ensued. 

Special guest, Peter, made Dixit extra fun this time around. :) 

In between Dixit, we Skyped with Yunjie. Despite connection issues, it was comforting to connect with Yunjie and see how she had been doing in Japan. And I didn’t realize how much I missed talking heart-to-heart with her until our Skype session. :( Fortunately, I might have a Japan visit in the works July of 2012! =D More about that later… don’t want to jump the gun. 

Anyhoo, back to the sleepover. We stayed up late on Friday night playing Dixit, and woke up the next morning to a big breakfast that Linda’s parents made for us.

After breakfast, we gathered around the tiny tree to exchange presents. We did a legit Secret Santa this year, and Lucy got me a scrapbook for our Disney World trip! w00t! Just what I was looking for!

It’s time to get crack-a-lackin’ on the scrapbook! =D 

The rest of the day was spent playing Just Dance. Just terrible. Terribly good fun, that is! Gahaha! xD 

Christmas was spent all with my fam. Holed up with my chai tea lattes and candy canes, exchanged gifts with the parents, and journalled like crazy. It was very settling - meditative, even - being able to get all my thoughts down on paper, in a somewhat-coherent way. I spent the night hot-potting with my parents, followed by Chinese Checkers and Big 2, haha! xD 

Yesterday, I skipped out on all the Boxing Day hoopla and decided to go watch TinTin with Ben & Shiv instead. I thought TinTin looked totally lame. SO. WRONG. It rocked my socks, haha! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I’m going to wrap up the extended weekend tomorrow doing a little car shopping with my daddy and Jon. Hopefully, it’ll be fruitful, b/c this car stuff is really not my cup of tea.
